Chip Carrier Solder-in
Enables a fast time to market, reduced risk alternative to a full chip design to provide RealTime Ethernet and Fieldbus connectivity to your industrial product. Featuring in the case of netRAPID 5x a small stamp size solder-in module including all the necessary components a full slave functionality can be added with the addition of network interface connectors and an address switch. The Development kit includes 3 loose netRAPID modules for your prototypes, further modules are supplied in trays of 24 pcs. The loadable firmware for the various protocols is provided for a one off cost under a simple licencing agreement and can be loaded to the netRAPID's flash memory. A similar approach with netRAPID 90 but in addition the second ARM is available for your own application.
