Description
These PoE expansion cards supply electricity to connected devices without an outlet or adapter in sight, delivering both data connections and electrical power through a single Ethernet cable. The advantages of PoE include greater flexibility, safety (no AC powerline involved), easy installation, reliability and cost effectiveness. These benefits have led to the development of a range of new PoE-enabled industrial products. A Power Transmission Solution for Industrial Systems As PoE increases in popularity, a greater variety of PoE applications have appeared on the market, including IP security cameras, VOIP phones, wireless access points, switches and routers. Innodisk provides two expansion cards to meet the dynamic demands of a diverse market. Innodisk’s PoE expansion cards assist system integrators to build up power transmission networks. PoE works without modifying the existing Ethernet cabling infrastructure. It saves cost, space, and labor for new and existing installations.
