Description

The new member of the cifX portfolio cifX M3042100BM is a communication interface for M.2 sockets in PC-based systems. The card is designed in an M.2 3042 Key B+M format, thus, fits into M.2 Key B and M.2 Key M sockets and uses PCI Express technology. Thanks to the netX 100 communication controller, it is the first and only M.2 solution that offers industrial master and slave connectivity as an "add-in" card. The functionality of the card allows users to operate their products both in a controlling and regulating applications and as slave devices. M.2 sockets are, together with mini PCI Express, the widespread standard for "add-in" cards in modern and space-critical PC-based systems. Integrators benefit from the ready-to-use technology that enables them to integrate connectivity as bluetooth, WiFi, or now also industrial communication, or storage to their product in an easy way.
