Description

The MILES-BD-3140 is a compact 3.5" single board computer designed for embedded computing, industrial automation, edge AI, machine control and space-constrained IoT applications.

Powered by Intel® Core™ Ultra processor options, including Intel® Core™ Ultra 5 125U, Core™ Ultra 7 155U and Core™ Ultra 7 165H, the MILES-BD-3140 combines efficient processing performance with integrated Intel® Xe LPG Graphics and an NPU integrated in the SoC. This makes it suitable for embedded systems requiring local processing, AI acceleration and reliable industrial connectivity.

The board supports up to 96GB DDR5 5600MT/s memory across two SO-DIMM sockets and provides a strong range of I/O for system integration, including dual Intel® i226 2.5GbE LAN, HDMI 2.0, DP++, eDP, USB 3.2 Gen 2, USB 2.0, RS-232/422/485 serial ports, SMBus and 8-bit GPIO. Four M.2 expansion slots allow flexible configuration for NVMe/SATA storage, wireless connectivity, cellular modules and application-specific expansion.

Designed for embedded and industrial deployments, the MILES-BD-3140 features 9–36V DC wide voltage input via internal Phoenix header, TPM 2.0 security and a programmable watchdog timer. U-series models support operation from 0°C to 60°C, with -40°C to 85°C support available by optional heatsink, making the board ideal for OEM embedded platforms, smart manufacturing, automation controllers, kiosks, edge devices and compact industrial systems.
